The base model is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 247 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque, matched to an eight-speed transmission and off-road-ready all-wheel drive. If you upgrade to an S model, you'll have two more engine choices-a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that puts out 380 horsepower and 332 Â Â Â Â Â lb-ft of torque, or a turbocharged 2.0-liter diesel four-cylinder that puts out 180 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque.
In addition to the all-wheel drive system, the Terrain Response® system comes standard as well and enables you to tackle a variety of conditions, from mud to rocks to sand, with ease.  There is a generous amount of cargo room, measuring 34.4 cubic feet, which can be expanded to 70.1 cubic feet.
